Grovetown, Ga--Over the last half dozen years or so we've heard a ton about growing the game of golf. Augusta National has done it. So too has the PGA Tour, just a lot of it goes unnoticed with their Junior League program

Several golf courses around have teams and at Bartram Trail, nearly 50 kids are taking part. This isn't about individuals competing against each other, it's more about teams. Kids range in age from six to 13 with various skill levels. Cool uniforms, numbers on their backs, and less stress means more fun. Playing with a teammate helps that fun factor as well.

"Really helps you understand. You can sometimes watch the other players to get what you need to know, but you also have coaches that can help you with that stuff" said eight year old Isaac Corley

Do you like playing with teammates?

"Yes, because you can work together and figure out stuff and you can help each other" said Adyson Lukich

Bill Fumia is the main coach at Bartram and says they've seen some kids, who wouldn't normally play, come and play. With the soccer style and the uniforms and all, has taken the fear factor away from playing golf.
