NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Another high school football regular season has come and gone. Now it's time for the playoffs.

Prep teams on both sides of the river hope to be the last team standing in their respective class come December.

For North Augusta it's been another dominant season and they have no plans on it ending anytime soon. The Yellow Jackets captured a region title and a number one seed for the second time in a row, finishing 5-1 in region-play.

After an early exit in states a year ago, the Jakets have some unfinished business.

"We can't become complacement and be happy where we're at. We want to stay improving and not get comfortable with where we are," senior linebacker, Chris Torres said.

North Augusta opens up the lower-state playoffs this Friday at the Jackets Nest against Hilton Head Island.
