North Augusta, SC--It was just six days ago North Augusta was hoisting the trophy as state champs for a third straight year. Pretty remarkable feet as the Yellow Jackets have done the improbable. Not a lot of time to celebrate that day, so fast forward to Friday morning.

Today, the whole school got to enjoy with the ladies, instead of just those who were able to travel to Columbia. Everyone on the team got their state medals and everyone had a chance to cut down the nets, something they didn't do a week ago. It was just a chance to celebrate with everyone as that winning feeling has set in.

"We've had time to soak it in and this is a little cooler. After the game, it first hits you, here, you're surrounded by all your classmates, the whole school and it really brings it home that you won state" said Mya Burns

"These girls have been able to experience something that's really special and I believe that anytime you can work and go through the process and get things done, I think it's special and I think it's something they'll forever remember" said Al Young

"No, I still can't describe it. I'm just glad I was able to do it with this team. Having the whole school here is way better then being there" said Aaliyah Bell

Believe it or not, the word four-peat was also thrown out there today and with the talent they have coming back and moving up, it's not an unheard of proposition.
