North Augusta boys look to leave a mark on the state playoffs

North Augusta, SC--The regular season is now behind us and it's state playoff time on the basketball court. While the Georgia ranks won't tip off til the end of the week, that's not the case for South Carolina, as they to work immediately.

While it's been a successful couple of years for the North Augusta girls in winning back-to-back titles, don't sleep on the Yellow Jacket boys this time around. They went undefeated in region play and are starting to peak at the right time. A total team effort seeing pretty much everyone finds court time on a nightly basis.

"Just how they have bought in. I play about 12 kids a night and they don't care, they don't care who gets the credit, who shoots, who plays, they want to win and that's been a big surprise." said Tony Harrell

"We still don't think we've played a complete game yet, so I definitely think we can find a new gear and get into it" said Jonathan Streelman

While RJ Felton is getting a lot of publicity, the cast around him complements things perfectly. They will host Dreher on Wednesday night to get the party started.
