Evans, Ga--We are just over a month away from when high school football teams hit the practice field for real. Before then, all about camps and 7 on 7 events like the FCA puts on every year. .
Washington-Wilkes new coach T.C. Jay is getting a chance to see what their kids can do in a competitive setting. The Tiger program has a lot of history behind it and jay knows plenty about it having been an assistant with them before. Certainly makes the step up easier to handle seeing he knows just about everything about the program.
"it's been an easy transition. I already knew the kids - had the relationship with the kids, the community, everybody in the school house, administration. So it's been an easy transition. We picked up February 12th and kept rolling from there."
One of jay's main goals is to bring Tiger pride back to the area. He believes they have the right coaching staff and the talent to do it this year.
