EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- It's become one heck of a tournament. The annual National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship. Now in it's 12th year, the event has found a new home, and the competition is as stiff as ever.

There are 70 teams from 40 different schools competing, and all of them are vying for the big prize....a national title .

This year, there's been a big change of scenery. Instead of competing at the Hippodrome in North Augusta, they're taking on the course at Wildwood Park.

With the new course, come a lot more obstacles.

"Different challenges here. A lot of the challenges here are a lot more natural. We have elevation changes, tighter fairways with a lot of old grown trees and pine trees and stuff like that. At the hippodrome, we had a lot of open courses. We fabricated the ob with mandmade pounds and ropes and stuff like that," tournament director, John Baker said.

This course has proved to be very tricky. There are currently no teams under par. NC State leads at 2-over, heading into tomorrow's final round.
