Augusta, Ga--For the past four years, Laney's Jaiden Hamilton has been a big cog in the machine the Wildcats put on the court every year. All told, she leaves the program with two state titles and didn't even lose 10 games during her time. Now, onto bigger and better things.
Tuesday, Hamilton took care of the paperwork and decided to play college ball in Statesboro at Georgia Southern. It wasn't an easy decision but she didn't rush things and made sure it was the right fit for her. From being relatively close to home to having what she was looking for, Hamilton is now an Eagle.
"I really like the campus and it's not too far from home, I can come back when I want to and family. I wanted to have a home away from home and that's what made it fit my criteria" said Jaiden Hamilton
Hamilton is also Laney's salutatorian so she's been getting the work done on and off the court to make this day possible
