Joe Thomas prepares for 2019 season

Antonio Hamilton's football camp at Strom Thurmond High School on Saturday brought a few college teammates back to the river region.
One of those teammates was current Dallas Cowboy Joe Thomas, who's looking to rebound from an injury shortened campaign last season.
The linebacker has been in the league since 2015 and is fighting for an impact role on the Cowboys defense.
Thomas played well with the Packers with his most memorable moment coming against NFC North division rival Chicago. He actually knocked the "C" logo off of Ka'Deem Carey's helmet because he hit Carey so hard.
Thomas missed time last season with an ankle injury, but he says he'll be 100 percent heading into the upcoming season.
"I got hurt I think the fourth game of the season, and I came back at the end of the season," said Thomas. "So I finished the season and everything, I'm looking to have a strong year this year."
Thomas is currently third on the depth chart behind Sean Lee and Leighton Vander Esch. Lee is one of the more injury prone players in the league, so Thomas could see some substantial playing time in the upcoming season.
