Augusta, Ga--There's a new vibe on the flats in Atlanta. Geoff Collins has taken over for Paul Johnson at Georgia Tech, and the excitement level is as high as it's been in quite some time.

Collins, paying a visit to Augusta today as he was the guest speaker at the Augusta Exchange Club luncheon. He's brought a fresh way to do things and everyone involved has embraced the changes. They just had their spring game a week ago and Collins was surprised in a couple of ways.

"Actually how well the quarterbacks throw and how well the receivers can go up and get the ball, so really pleased with both of those positions. Wasn't anticipating them to be as good as they really are so really excited about that" said Geoff Collins

Yes, Georgia Tech is actually going to throw the ball more than two or three times a game this year. Collins though does have the utmost respect for Johnson and what he accomplished prior to his retirement .
