THE FLATS – Georgia Tech has officially sold out its full season-ticket packages for the 2017 football season, Tech athletics announced on Monday.
The full season-ticket packages included all seven games that the Yellow Jackets play in Atlanta this season, including next Monday’s much-anticipated opener versus Tennessee in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Georgia Tech sold out its original allotment of 30,000 tickets for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game and requested 5,000 more seats in an effort to meet the great demand from its fans. Sales from the Yellow Jackets' second allotment were also brisk, prompting Georgia Tech officials to strategically hold back a very small amount of tickets that could continue to be included in season-ticket packages after the game was officially announced as a sellout on Aug. 9. Those limited tickets, which were only available for purchase as a part of a full season-ticket package, have all been sold and, therefore, the Jackets’ 2017 full season-ticket packages are also sold out.
Additionally, only a limited number of tickets still remain for Georgia Tech’s regular-season finale versus archrival Georgia, which is slated for Nov. 25 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
There are only two ways to guarantee a seat for “Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate” against UGA – by purchasing a six-game season-ticket package, which includes all six games to be played at Bobby Dodd Stadium this season, or a Flex Pack, which allows fans to purchase tickets for any three or more games that they wish to attend at Bobby Dodd this fall. Six-game season-ticket packages start at just $220 and Flex Packs begin at just $125.
Single-game tickets are also available for the Yellow Jackets’ contests versus Jacksonville State (Sept. 9) and ACC foes Pitt (Sept. 23), North Carolina (Sept. 30), Wake Forest (Oct. 21 – homecoming) and Virginia Tech (Nov. 11), beginning at just $15 for the home opener against Jacksonville State and $40 for the four ACC matchups.
