Augusta, Ga--With the cost too high, the GHSA has decided to move the state title football games from Mercedes Benz Stadium to Georgia State Stadium.

Thomson was the last Augusta river region team to play for a state title, and that was in the old Georgia Dome, three years ago. Since the new place was built, they wanted to give teams the chance to play there. Unfortunatly the cost of doing business was just too high, thus them moving the games to Georgia State Stadium, which most of us know it as Turner Field.
