Falcons release 2019 schedule

(WRDW/WAGT) -- The Falcons are now three seasons removed from reaching the Super Bowl, and they haven't been able to find that same magic since.

With a load of talent, Atlanta looks to be a serious playoff contender this year.

Their tough schedule will have them battle tested . Falcons open the 2019 season at Minnesota , then face the Eagles the following week during Sunday Night Football.

Philadelphia is one of Atlanta's only prime time games, the other being, the saints on Thanksgiving Day.

They also play six home-and -away games.
