AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- From a Laney Wildcat, to a Baylor Bear.

Now, Khadijiah Cave is heading overseas to make her pro basketball dreams come true.

She's signed a contract to play with the Esperance Sportive Pully team out of Switzerland.

Earlier this year, Cave was with the LA Sparks during training camp, but was later waived before joining the Georgia Soul.

She says that this experience has made her a hungrier player.

"The knockdown allowed me to pick myself back up and keep trying and keep trying and keep pushing. I know this isn't the last for me. So, I'm just going to go overseas and try again in the states," Cave said. "And if that doesn't work, I'm just going to keep going and keep going, until I get to where I want to be."

Cave says she'll be leaving the u-s to join her new team at the end of August or early September..
