Charlotte, NC--It's only June, it's only mini-camp, but the Carolina Panthers are breathing a little easier as Cam Netown is throwing once again.
The start quarterback missed the last couple of weeks of the regular season and had surgery to clean up his shoulder. Now, after the rehab, he's back on the field and getting the arm back in shape.
"The shoulder started to go then you saw everything kind of fall to the wayside. Now, we have an opportunity to go back and rework those things and do the things he needs to do and he's done a great job and really excited about it." said Ron Rivera
While they are not overhauling his throwing style, they are trying to make it so there's a little less stress on the shoulder, especially since age is starting to catch up on Newton.
