Augusta men's golf heads to Stanford for NCAA regional

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's golf team earned the 12th seed in the 2019 NCAA Stanford Regional and will compete May 13-15 at Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif. Augusta will make its fifth-consecutive trip to the NCAA postseason under head coach Jack O’Keefe and its 22nd trip all time.

The announcement came live on May 1st from the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee via a live selection show on Golf Channel. The committee selected the 81 teams and 45 individuals to compete in the six NCAA Men’s Regional Championships.

There will be 13 teams and 10 individuals at three regionals and 14 teams and five individuals at three regionals. The top five teams in each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships May 17-29 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark. The top individual from non-qualifying teams at each regional will also earn a trip to the finals.
