Augusta, Ga--Augusta coach Dip Metress has been named Peach Belt coach of the year while Deane Williams is co-player of the year and Miguel Arnold co-freshman of the year, as announced Friday.

Metress led the Jags to the regular season title and top seed in the PBC Tournament and it's actually, just the third time he's received the honor, despite all the wins and conference titles he's amassed over the years.

Miguel Arnold is the co-newcomer of the year. He's played a huge role as of late as a prime threat from long range for the Jags.

Asia Harrison, of the Jags women's team, was named Freshmen of the year as well.
