Augusta, Ga--The Augusta men's golf team is ready for their signature event of the year, the Augusta Haskins Award Invite. It's a loaded field that features third ranked Wake Forest and South Carolina.

For the Jags, they know they'll have their work cut out but have been getting better pretty much each tournament. Consistency is key and that's been lacking. It's a young team for the most part and they are taking steps forward to get where they want to be.

"I mean we've had a pretty rough spring so far but I feel like we're getting better and better each week and I feel like we've had a lot of good practices the last couple of days and I think we're getting closer and closer" said Gustav Anderson

"We have a good mix of some Georgia kids and some international kids and they don't really feel the pressure of the hoopla of the big events. So they try to play it like a normal tournament. ' said Jack O'Keefe

Jags did post a win a few weeks back, but the competition level is certainly being ramped up this weekend at Forest Hills. Admission is free both Saturday and Sunday.
