3 apples of your choice (Granny Smith, Honey Crisp, and Golden Delicious were used)
½ cup apple juice
½ teaspoon cinnamon
DirectionsWash and dry the apples.
Cut the apples into quarters and take out the core. Then cut each quarter in half lengthwise again. From there cut the slices into two to four pieces (should be about ½ inch bite-size pieces).
Add the apple pieces to a saucepan with the apple juice and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow to cook for about 8 minutes. The apples will be soft but still have a little bite to them.
