Woman charged with stealing $2,200 from Augusta Walmart

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- An Augusta woman is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the Walmart on Deans Bridge Road.

According to the incident report, a Walmart employee told deputies Brianna Dicks, 22, stole a total of $2,200 from her register. The employee questioned Dicks about the stolen money, and Dicks pulled $520 from her pockets.

Deputies reviewed Walmart's surveillance video from Saturday, Dec. 3, and saw Dicks put money from the cash register into her pockets.

Other surveillance video from Nov. 23 through Dec. 3 showed Dicks putting a total of $2,200 from the register into her pockets.

Dicks is now charged with felony theft by taking.
