AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Some students at Westminster High School are tackling transportation problems in Augusta.

The students studied public transit in other cities then took a field trip to ride Augusta buses to research the best way to bring a tramway system to Augusta.

They've already presented their findings to Augusta Public Transit and Mayor Hardie Davis. Now, the class will get to meet with Richmond County Government officials in the next few weeks.
