Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is over $400 million

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Feeling lucky? Wednesday night's tenth-largest Powerball jackpot is an estimated $403 million.

According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, it’s been a year since Powerball reached the largest jackpot of $1.5 billion, and 2016 went on to deliver three more $400+ million jackpot wins. It's been 19 drawings since there was a winner.

If you’re looking to take a chance, you must purchase your $2 Powerball tickets by 9:59 p.m. Wednesday for the 10:59 p.m. drawing. If no one wins Wednesday night’s drawing, the jackpot is expected to increase even more for Saturday.
