AIKEN, SC (WRDW/WAGT)-- The City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities fixed the repair of a water main in Woodside Plantation. The line has been fully charged, and everyone should have water. However, officials say to expect some air in the water line initially.

A Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until sometime Monday mid-day. Two water samples taken 24 hours apart are required, and the first one will be daylight Sunday morning.

Steeplechase Road at the point of repair will be temporarily closed until the road is adequately repaired.

AIKEN, SC (WRDW/WAGT)-- A water main break at Grassy Creek Lane and Steeplechase Road will impact the water service for around 200 homes in Aiken. Once the main is fixed, officials say a boil advisory will go into effect.

The disruption in water service will affect homes in the Woodside Community as well as neighbors who live from West Pleasant to Anderson Mill Road.

Crews are working to repair the break. Officials do not expect the work to be completed before this evening.
