COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Kitty Konnections needs your help volunteering and fostering cats and kittens in the Central Savannah River Area.
Kitty Konnection is an all volunteer cat and kitten foster care and rescue network in the CSAR. This year, they have been accepted to complete the Michelson Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge. The team who wins this national fundraising competition will received an additional $50,000 donation.
Kiity Konnection is asking for the community to help share their challenge in hopes it sheds like on the need of volunteer and donations in the area. According to the company, they currently have 450 animals in their network with only 40 fosters.
The organization stated that the money will be used to establish a trap, neuter, and release program, that will help reduce the population of local feral cat colonies.
