AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- All lanes are back open, and traffic is flowing again on I-20 eastbound, following Wednesday morning's tractor-trailer fire.

It happened at the Washington Road exit, 199.

3:15 p.m.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Officials with Augusta Fire tell News 12 the rig was carrying cardboard when it went up in flames.

The cause is still unknown. Cleanup is still ongoing, causing backups.

1:15 p.m.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Law enforcement tells News 12 a tractor-trailer fire has caused some backups on I-20 eastbound.

Crews were called out to exit 199, to Washington Road, around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.

At least one lane is blocked.
