THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT)-- The McDuffie County Coroner identified the worker who died in a gas station sign as Ernest Ray.

Initial findings suggested the 34-year-old may have possibly been electrocuted after trying to cut a wire inside the sign. But, initial findings have not been confirmed by the GBI crime lab. Coroner Wiley says Ray's body is scheduled for an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
