Two suspects arrested after undercover narcotics bust finds methamphetamine

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- An undercover narcotics operation puts two people behind bars. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office arrested John Durst and Bjorn Wiley on Friday.

The two were arrested on Boy Scout Road around 6:00 P.M.

During the investigation, agents seized approximately four kilograms of methamphetamine. They also found $600.

The Sheriff's Office said this is the first wave of arrests under the continuation of Sheriff Roundtree’s commitment to the disruption and dismantling of drug trafficking organizations in our community.

The Sheriff's Office said additional charges could be coming. Both state and federal indictments are expected.
