NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Two victims are expected to make a full recovery after a drive-by shooting in North Augusta.

The shooting happened Sunday on Bergen Road off of Martintown Road. Two people were shot, including a child.

Officers say the call came in at 10:36 a.m. They say it happened at the 13 building of Willow Wick Apartments in North Augusta.

A male was standing on a balcony holding the 3-year-old when a blue Nissan sedan passed by and someone fired one shot from it.

An arriving officer found the 3-year-old suffering a small wound to the lower right leg and calf area and the other victim face-down on the floor.

Two people were taken to Augusta University Medical Center.

Both victims are expected to make a full recovery.

The investigation, meanwhile, continues. If you have any information, contact the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
