THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- We're learning another plant in Thomson could be closing.

Officials in McDuffie county confirmed to News 12 the Hollander Sleep Products Plant has filed for bankruptcy and could close as soon as this fall.

The McDuffie County Development Authority says more than 200 people could lose their jobs. We're told this move is surprising because the company was looking to hire more employees.

Right now the Development Authority is working to help those employees find new work.
