AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- Deputies have identified the person who drove through a Tobacco Road Bojangles' around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Traequan Cox, 19, was being pursued by police, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, when he lost control of his SUV and drove through the restaurant. He fled on foot and was arrested one block away.

The chase started on Phinizy Road. Cox, sheriff's officials say, then went down Mike Padgett Highway toward Tobacco Road crashing into the restaurant.

Cox was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center where he is facing 12 charges, including reckless driving, obstruction of law enforcement and numerous drug charges.

No one was injured in the crash. Bojangles' boarded up the hole in the wall last night, and will open the drive-thru Thursday.
