Sprint Foods in Thomson to give free gas, beverages to former Georgia-Pacific workers following fire

THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Another business is giving back to those who lost their jobs in

at the end of May.

About 100 people are without a job after the Thomson location burnt down in a massive blaze.

Now, Sprint Food Store in Thomson is giving back. They will be offering these former employees a free tank of gas and a free beverage on Friday, June 14th.

Sprint's HR department and MAU Workforce Solutions will also be on hand all day Friday to help those former employees find jobs.
