Shoplifters get away with nearly $1,000 worth of purses, investigators say

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- Two women walked out of a Belk store on Monday with four handbags worth nearly $1,000, according to sheriff's investigators.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says the shoplifters left the store on Washington Road around 2:00 pm in a dark gray Nissan Altima with $875 worth of purses.
