AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A traffic shift is set for Thursday morning as part of the Riverwatch Parkway extension project on Old Petersburg Road.

The shift will be from east of Murray Drive to west of Lynnwood Drive. The shift work should begin by 9 a.m., moving traffic to the south side of the newly constructed roadway. This stage allows E.R. Snell to construct the north side roadway in this area, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
