WAGENER, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man in connection with a home burglary in Wagener caught on home surveillance camera.

Investigators say they have arrested 26-year-old Willie Lee Chandler III for burglary in the second degree. Chandler turned himself in to investigators Friday, Aug. 5 around 9:30 p.m. and was taken to the Aiken County Detention Center for booking.

WAGENER, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office needs your help in finding a man who burglarized a home in Wagener on-camera.

Investigators say the incident happened on August 1 around 2:38 p.m., deputies responded to a break-in at the 100 block of Buckboard Road in Wagener.

The homeowner called 911 and told dispatch that he received an alarm alert and watched the suspect on camera break into his home.

When deputies got there, they found damage to the back door and searched the home and the area for the suspect who ran away before they got there.

The homeowner stated that the thief took several items.

The suspect is being described as a Black male, who at the

time of the break-in was wearing a white cloth on his head, black shirt, and dark shorts. He was also carrying a gray and orange striped backpack. Investigators believe this man is linked to other home burglaries in the area.
