Person dies in camper fire on Idlewood Road in Burke County

BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Burke County Coroner's Office has said it could take a while to determine the identification of a person killed in a fire on Idlewood Road Monday night.
At around 9:16 p.m., Burke County EMA said they got a call about a fire on Idlewood Road. Nine firefighters and seven pieces of equipment arrived on scene within seven minutes, according to Burke County EMA.
Upon arrival, Burke County EMA said the approximately 30-foot camper was fully involved and it took approximately 15 minutes to get the fire under control.
After the fire was under control, EMA said a body was found inside the camper. The body is being sent to the GBI crime lab in Atlanta for positive identification and toxicology.
The fire is believed to be accidental and no foul play is suspected, Burke County EMA said.
