Augusta Fire, EMS treat construction worker struck by car near Augusta Mall

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Augusta Fire and EMS treated a construction worker who was hit by a car Wednesday morning.

It happened around 7:42 a.m. on Wrightsboro Road. We're unsure of the victim's condition at this time, but we're told by crews they don't believe it's fatal.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says the man was in the work zone when he was struck.
