UPDATE | Bicyclist hit near Walton Way

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A bicyclist was involved in an accident on Walton Way.
Authorities say the cyclist was at fault for the accident and was issued a citation.
The cyclist had no visible injuries but was taken to the hospital.
3:29 p.m.
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- There is a traffic accident near Walton Way. Officials say a pedestrian was hit but details of the injuries are limited at this time.
There are no reports of lane closures and the vehicle that is said to be involved in the accident did stay on scene.
The call came in around 3:25 p.m. EMS and Gold Cross are there.
