Peach Jam gets off to big start with big names on hand

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- For one week out of the year, North Augusta becomes the basketball mecca world. The Peach Jam bringing in the best prep talent from around the country. This year, no different and may have taken it to a new level.

As always, the tournament brings out the big names, fans included. Shaquille O'Neal made an appearance Wednesday night as his son Shareef plays on one of the teams. Mark Fox, Frank Martin, Coach K and Bill Self among just some of the coaches representing big time programs Wednesday evening.

On the court, Marvin Bagley III is one guy you might want to remember that name. He's the top recruit in the 2018 class and still hasn't made a college decision. In this past, the Peach Jam has featured talents like Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, and Kemba Walker, so you're watching feature stars of the game.

The tournament wraps up on Sunday.
