Overnight vehicle fire closes 2 WB lanes on I-20, accident under investigation

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Officials say they received a call around 10:16 p.m. regarding one vehicle on fire at I-20 and Bobby Jones.

There were no reports of injury and EMS was not called out.

Two westbound lanes were shut down and reopened after a wrecker cleared the scene.

Officials say they do not know what started the single vehicle fire. They are investigating the accident.
