ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 35-year-old woman for intentionally running over her sister.

It happened December 12th at an Edisto Drive business.

Kacie Carrigg apparently got into an argument with her step-sister before running her over with her car and dragging her. An incident report says she did it on purpose.

Carrigg is charged with Attempted Murder and could face up to 30 years in prison for the crime.

“There is absolutely no sense in this,” said Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. “No matter who was right or wrong in an argument, there’s no justification for this. Period.”
