NC, GA lead the pack in online ammo sales as coronavirus fears spike

(WRDW/WAGT) -- Disinfectants and over-the-counter medicines aren't the only thing flying off store shelves because of the coronavirus.

As it turns out, online ammunition sales have surged, too.

Ammo.com says it has seen a 68 percent increase in transactions comparing the first half and the second half of February.

Believe it or not, North Carolina and Georgia had the largest increases at 170 percent.
