AIKEN, SC (WRDW/WAGT) -- Arrest warrants have been formally issued against a Greenville man who Aiken Department of Public Safety investigators said was involved in a deadly home invasion in December.
Andrew Tyrone Harrison, 33, will be charged with murder in the death of Carl Donnelle Boyd, 27.
Boyd, according to DPS officials, was fatally wounded at a residence on Cherokee Street back on Dec. 20, 2018 after two men, one identified as Harrison, forced their way into the home.
After Boyd was shot, DPS said, the pair fled the home. Harrison was located a short time later and held by the U.S. Marshal's Service.
Harrison now stands charged with Boyd's murder after evidence and interviews developed him into the suspect.
However, Harrison remains in Anderson, SC on unrelated charges. He will be transported back to Aiken once he has served his sentence.
