Missing teen believed to be in Augusta area

COLUMBIA COUNTY (WRDW/WAGT)-- Columbia County Sheriff's Office charged the runaway teen, Kaylie Zepp, with obstruction. CCSO says Zepp ran away from officers after they found her.

COLUMBIA COUNTY (WRDW/WAGT)-- The 17-year-old who police say ran away from her mother's North Carolina home was found last night in Georgia. The family of Kaylie Zepp told News 12 they found her at 9 p.m. in Columbia County. Zepp's mother says she is unharmed and safe.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A teen who police say ran away from her mother's house could be in the Augusta area, where her dad lives.

According to her mother, 17-year-old Kaylie Zepp was last seen on June 29th around 2:30 p.m. She says she knows her daughter is in the Augusta area.

Kaylie was staying with her mother in North Carolina for the summer, but someone allegedly picked her up. She goes to Evans High School in Columbia County, and her mom believes she's with her boyfriend.

Kaylie's father also thinks she is in the Augusta area.
