AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Brandon Stevenson, a man accused of the shooting death of another man during a drug deal at Bon Air Apartments, has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, armed robbery, drug, and gun charges.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A man accused of shooting a man to death at the Bon Air Apartments in May is expected to make a plea in court Friday at 9 a.m.

Brandon Stevenson faces murder, armed robbery, drug, and gun charges.

Officials say Stevenson met two people to buy drugs when he shot Jacob Brit in the back after getting in their car. Investigartors say he then robbed Brit and the passenger.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Autopsy results show a 19-year-old who was shot in the Bon Air parking lot died from delayed complications of a gunshot wound, according to the Richmond County Coroner's Office.

Jacob Britt's death has been ruled a homicide. Britt was allegedly shot in the back on May 31.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting and drug deal deputies said happened in the parking lot of Bon Air Apartments in May.

According to an incident report, Brandon Stevenson allegedly met two people to buy drugs on May 31. He got in the car and sat behind the driver, Jacob Britt, and fired a round from a revolver into his back. He then demanded Jacob Britt and the person in the passenger seat, Brittany Sanders, give him all that they have. Britt later died at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta.

Sanders and Britt gave Stevenson their cell phones, thirty dollars, and a knife, according to the incident report. Stevenson allegedly took a pack of cigarettes from the center console as well and the the knife outside the car. Brandon Stevenson was later arrested at Bon Air Apartments with a medicine bottle that had cocaine and methamphetamine inside. He also had marijuana in his pocket, according to the report.

Stevenson was arrested on charges including, possession of meth, cocaine, and marijuana. He also faces gun charges, murder, and armed robbery.

ATLANTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A man who was shot during a robbery in the parking lot of the Bon Air Apartments in May has died.

Richmond County Deputy Coroner, Kenneth Boose, confirms Jacob Anderson Britt, 19, died at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta at around 4:30 Saturday morning.

Britt was shot during a robbery in the Bon Air Apartments parking lot on May 31, 2016.

An incident report lists Brandon Seville Stevenson, 24, as a suspect of the shooting. Deputies was taken into custody, and found cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana on him.

Stevenson is in the Charles C. Webster Detention Center charged with murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and weapons and drug charges.
