EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- We're On Your Side with when and where you can wrap up your holiday shopping.
STORE HOURS:
Last minute shoppers will be flooding stores this weekend. The National Retail Federation says 12% of shoppers will be buying their final gifts Friday.
They say 42% of last minute shoppers will be visiting department stores to finish up. Clothing and accessories will make up 50% of all gifts.
Many stores in the CSRA will be extending hours over the next few days. Nearly every store is opening early and staying open later on Friday.
Kohl's has been open 24 hours a day since Tuesday. They'll be closed at 6 P.M. Christmas Eve. Other stores closing at 6 include Walmart and Best Buy. Target will close at either 10 P.M. or 11 P.M. depending on the store. The Augusta Mall will close at 6 P.M. on Christmas Eve. Publix and Kroger will be open until 7 P.M. on Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Day all these stores will be closed.
Law enforcement are warning shoppers to take steps to avoid being the victim of possible car break-ins. They suggest keeping all items out of sight and locking your cars.
