RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- An Augusta man has been arrested after a man was shot multiple times on Monday night on Daisy Lane.
Paul Mitchell, 56, is charged with one count each of aggravated assault, firearm possession during a crime, and reckless conduct. The incident happened on the 4100 block of Daisy Lane.
Mitchell reportedly fled the scene driving a Champagne in color Chevrolet Trailblazer. The victim, still unidentified, was rushed to Augusta University Medical Center for treatment.

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Investigators are on the scene of a shooting on the 4100 block of Daisy Lane in Augusta off Tobacco Road.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, an unknown male had been shot multiple times by an unknown suspect.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene possibly driving a Champagne in color Chevrolet Trailblazer. The victim was rushed to Augusta University Medical Center for treatment.
Details about the victim and the suspect are limited at this time, including what prompted the shooting to take place.
