AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- A head-on crash killed two drivers and the driver at fault was in two more crashes on the same day.

Video shows the moments before, during, and after the third and final accident.

The video, captured from a rear-facing camera on another vehicle, shows a black car being driven by Kevin Wells veer into opposite lanes before crashing into a white car.

The crash happened last Tuesday, but now we’re learning not only about Wells’ two other crashes on that day as well as his previous probation charge for DUI-drugs.

By 2:50 p.m., Wells was the suspect at fault in three crashes – each happening within 4 hours of the one before.

Cassandra Roselli paid the price with her life for a mistake that was not her own.

“Until I feel like we know the whole story, I can’t really be angry,” Roselli’s sister, Carolina New-Figueroa, said.

The story we do know, is that Wells started probation two months ago for a 2013 wreck – one where he pleaded guilty to being on drugs when he crashed.

“It’s hard,” New-Figueroa said. “It is really hard.”

New-Figueroa hopes drugs had nothing to do with this case. She’s just not sure who failed here or why Wells was still on the road in the first place.

“So once we find out what really happened, that will help us at least,” New-Figueroa said.
Roselli was known in the family as the world traveler.

“It was either she was going to take three planes, two trains, and she’s going to find the cheapest place to go different places,” New-Figueroa said.

Roselli may have traveled the globe, but her world was right in Augusta.

On Tuesday, Roselli was going on another trip – one to see her mom. She never made it.

“It still feels like a dream,” New-Figueroa said. “It still feels like she’s going to walk through the door one day.”

This case makes many wonder if Wells was under the influence, but there’s no word on when a toxicology report will be completed.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is also investigating.
