AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The popular 27th annual Greek Festival kicks off on Thursday at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Telfair Street.

This year’s Festival runs from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday; 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday.

The festival will once again transform the church grounds into a small Greek village with shopping, music, dancing, tours, greek beer and wine, and delicious Greek food.

Proceeds from the food will benefit the ministries of the Church, both locally and nationally.
