(WRDW/WAGT) -- Due to weather, several holiday events scheduled for tonight have been canceled.
1. Lights of the South
2. Augusta on Ice
3. Christmas in Hopelands
All events are scheduled to open at their regular time starting Saturday.
Lincoln County has canceled its Christmas parade, according to commission chairman Walker Norman.
**The Augusta Parade has been canceled Dec. 1st due to weather. The tree lighting and fireworks show is rescheduled for Friday, Dec. 7th at 6 p.m.
**The Barnwell Christmas Parade has been canceled Dec. 1st due to weather. It has not been rescheduled.
The Harlem Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8 will be canceled and will not be rescheduled. The Tree Lighting Ceremony at Harlem City Hall is expected to begin at 6pm.
**The Camellia City Festival and Christmas parade in McDuffie County have been canceled Dec. 1st due to weather. They will not be rescheduled.
**The "Very Merriwether Christmas Tree Lighting" event has been rescheduled. This event will be on December 6th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Due to inclement weather, the Graniteville and New Ellenton Christmas Parades have been cancelled and rescheduled to December 15th.
The Waynesboro Christmas on Liberty will be held on December 7th. The Parade will be held on Saturday, December 15th.
The Millen/Jenkins County holiday event will run as planned, however, the location to the Jenkins County Ag Center on 433 Barney Avenue.
Warren County Hometown Christmas scheduled for December 8th as been cancelled due to weather. However, some local groups and businesses have decided to host indoor activities. Santa will be in town at his workshop on Main Street to talk to the kids. 504 Main Street will be open, hosting an Old Fashioned Social.
Washington-Wilkes County Annual Christmas Parade of Lights has been re-scheduled for December 16th.
Return to Bethlehem has been cancelled for Saturday, Dec. 8th. According to their Facebook post, "if you planned to attend on Saturday, please join us tonight between 6 - 9 pm as we celebrate God's unconditional love throught the birth of his son."
Due to weather, the Auggie's Holiday BUZZar & Holiday Vendor Fair has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 15.

The Annual 10K Jingle Jam will cause temporary lane & road closures on Washington Road, Evans Town Center Blvd, Ronald Reagan Drive, Gibbs Road, Hereford Farm Road, Evans To Locks Road, Government Center Way, and Faircloth Drive from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Grovetown's 44th Annual Christmas Parade will be traveling down Horizon South Pkwy (starting at John Huffman Way), turning right onto Wrightsboro Road and ending at the intersection of Robinson Ave. and Wrightsboro Road (Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market).
The Columbia County Annual Christmas Parade will cause temporary road closures that will begin with the closing of Evans Town Center Boulevard (from the traffic signal at Evans Town Center Boulevard at Ronald Reagan Drive to the multi-way stop intersection at Evans To Locks Road at Evans Town Center Boulevard) to thru traffic at 10:00 a.m. Also, several county roads that intersect with the parade route will be closed to thru traffic at their entrance/exits onto the aforementioned roadways, within the parade route. The parade route, utilizing portions of Washington Road (SR 104) and North Belair Road (SR 383), will be closed to thru traffic starting at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, and will remain closed until 4:00 p.m., Sunday.
The North Augusta Christmas Parade will cause road closures from Martintown Road/Georgia Avenue and Georgia Avenue to Buena Vista. The parade is from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
