Gun Violence Stats and Graphs

(WRDW/WAGT) -- Thursday is National Gun Violence Awareness Day, a day to bring awareness to a nationwide epidemic. According to Credo Action, approximately 88 people are killed by gun violence daily.

The Gun Violence Archive states that there were nearly 26,000 incidents of gun violence so far this year, the rest of the numbers are just as alarming:

As you can see by this map, most of the gun violence incidents that have happened so far this year are concentrated on the East Coast of the United States.
