FORT GORDON, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- Fort Gordon is holding a town hall-style event Thursday morning to talk about their response to COVID-19.

*** March 26th Fort Gordon Facebook Live Town Hall *** Welcome to the Fort Gordon Facebook live Town Hall hosted by Major General Neil S. Hersey, Commanding General, U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon. Today we’ll receive an update from Fort Gordon Leaders and subject matter experts about the COVID-19 response on Fort Gordon. An informational update will be provided at the beginning and then questions will be fielded following this portion of the town hall. · Please be courteous & respectful, and don’t post anything that compromises OPSEC. Comments that violate our comment policy – for example, that contain profanity, abusive language, or personal attacks – will be removed.

So far in Georgia, there have been 1,387 cases of COVID-19 along with 47 deaths.
